OUR STORY

The roots of Nikiti lie in a story of resilience: families who retreated from the coast inland to find a safe haven. For 150 years, the Jeione building has stood at the heart of village life – the post office, the telephone exchange, the barbershop, the café beside the bus station, the room kept ready for the bus driver. Wherever the village gathered, it gathered here.

An adults-only retreat, where culture is lived — through narrative, light, and color. A hotel designed for summer slowness and winter introspection — a broader story about Greece, love, travel, and time.

Concept

Jeione is a Living Archive. A house where memory and design sit at the same quiet table — where 1950s and 60s furniture holds an easy conversation with contemporary lines. We didn’t restore this place; we let it keep speaking. Ancient objects are not décor; they are witnesses. A reimagined vintage postcard collection becomes an art language that runs through every room. History becomes something you can touch — sensual, alive, and slightly mischievous.

HOTEL FACILITIES

JEIONE EXPERIENCE

Daily Aperativo

Each evening, the patio fills with the soft clink of glass and the smell of the day cooling down. Local wine tastings. Cocktails built from herbs, citrus, and the spirits of this coast. Honey from nearby hives. Cheeses, cured meats, fruit still warm from the sun. A small indulgence to mark the hour when light turns golden – and a quiet celebration of the land that grew it all

A Walk Through Old Nikiti - Guided or Alone

The village begins where the hotel ends. Stone houses, vines spilling from balconies, churches half-hidden in the hillside, a cat asleep on a sunlit doorstep. Walk it slowly — there’s no hurry here, and no map needed.

Private beach

A short drive from the hotel, our sister property Casa Bloo Adults Only, part of the Still Collection, opens its private beach and pool to Jeione guests. The water is the turquoise Halkidiki is known for — that postcard color that turns out to be real. From the beach, order from the Casa Bloo menu and they’ll bring it to your towel. The pool, just behind, has its own bar.

Winter

During the colder months, Jeione becomes a sanctuary for
introspection. By the burning fireplace, the hotel offers an intimate, quiet, and inviting spacefor reading, writing, and deep thought.

Events

This boutique hotel in Nikiti is conceived as a living archive: a place where memory, desire, and contemporary comfort coexist. Housed in a 150-year-old building that once functioned as the village’s social and communicative heart (telephony center, post office, barber), the project honors its role as a site of exchange, intimacy, and daily rituals
Rather than freezing the past  the hotel breathes new life into it. Vintage photographs, postcards, and found imagery become artworks that are gently recontextualized— layered, reframed, sometimes humorously displaced
