The Lobby
Not really a lobby. More a living room — with a fireplace, deep sofas, a library that grew slowly, and at one end an open kitchen and a long table d’hôte. In winter, breakfast gathers here; on private bookings, dinner does too. Some of what fills the room is old, some new — each piece chosen for a reason. This was always the room where the village came to meet. It still is.
The Courtyard Garden
The summer heart of the house. Lemon trees, olives, stone underfoot warming through the morning. Long breakfasts unfold here. So does the Aperitivo — cocktails and slow conversation as the day tilts into evening. In between, the courtyard belongs to whoever wants it: a book, a long nap, a glass of something cold. There’s nowhere to be. There’s no rush.
